Based on a carrier chasis (obviously)- ? not sure what type- no real knowledge on that front. based on a universal carrier chasisI've not been able to find anything else image wise at the mo , but if anybody knows of any please share! To me, this baby looks like something ahead of its time - almost has a MaK look about it This would make an awesome scratchbuild Update: this was meant to be a remote controlled platform armed with 2x bren guns = 60 rounds of 303? Now i'm seeing why it didn't make it beyond design/protoype stages -a pity

Chris- thans for the heads up I've found the pics on the Bovy website the other night as well as the proper background; tinyurl.com/bqjosnr This is not not remote controlled at all - the crew of two who lie prone in the "arms" which are ususally just sligtly elevated off the horizontal. The image above is a view from the stern quarter with the guns facing rearward. Only 2 protoypes were built the one at Bovy is the 2nd one with the 1st having been broken up for scrap many years ago. This is something I am soooooo tempted to have a go at- and with the pics and knowledge that the real deal is in Bovy its actually a realistic option But not until after I've finished building & painting whats on the bench already P
