I scratch built this a few years. I vac formed the body over a aluminum foil. I painted it brown and dusted it with baking powder for texture. The "lava tubes" are Easy Sculpt. The wound and base coat on the "lava tubes" (with friends) And some fringe. And with some other friends.

I think I remember that episode? I was a child when it was aired on German TV during the eighties. Or is my memory falsified?

I remember watching that episode in prime time back in the sixties with my father,I thought it was pretty scary at the time 😄

My father watched this series as well and I can remember watching with him alot of the episodes. Even though I don't remember this specific espisode, you sure brought back alot of memories.
That's frickin' cool how you shaped the mold out of tin foil. Some really good work went into this bud.

It's from the 1st season episode "The Devil in the Dark".
One of my favorites.
Kirk is a modified resin conversion kit, Spock is a very highly modified AMT Spock/Snakes kit.
