AWESOME!! I'm going to subscribe to this Terry. Can you give some detailed instructions on this as I'd love to learn how to do this. Steve Zuleski has been good at encouraging me to cross that line and do this as well as document what he does. I've not done it yet but I plan on doing a figure at some point.

Whoah. I had to look these up - had never come across Masterbox's "post-apocalyptic" series! I wonder why they did them in 1/24 vs 1/35?

Got the chance to look at this one finally and I sure appreciate the step-by-step instructions you're laying out Terry. You make this look really easy man. Keep it coming as I'm learning as you go. These oil based washes are all new to me and you're applying them over Tamiya paints. It doesn't appear that the oils are mixing with the base coats. I'm assuming that the Tamiya paints are pure acrylic?

I'm assuming that the Tamiya paints are pure acrylic? Tamiya paints are not per say pure acrylic, but the oil wash doesn't effect Tamiya paint unless you are rough with the surface. I find it works well and have been doing if for years on all my models. Thanks, |
