Looking forward to this build. While stationed in Mannheim Getmany in the early 70s, my dad befriended an ex Stuka and JU 88 pilot named Karl. Karl and his ex pilot friends built an RC Stuka and when we were heading back stateside, he gave it to my dad. Good memories.

How's it going together? Airfix appears to be stepping up their game lately.

Love that Spitfire, the paintjob and weathering is perfect. Looks like Airfix is creating some nice kits these days.

I stopped building aircraft in 2015 and started building autos in order to take a step back and re-evaluate my painting and weathering skills on aircraft. I started building aircraft again in 2019/2020 after lots of research in my time away from the genre and feel alot more comfortable with my painting these days.
