Welcome back Ernie!!! Glad to see you around brother!! I cannot begin to say enough good about this build. The paint, weathering and decaling are just dang near perfect. The efforts on the stencils alone is worthy of an award. I've seen these models in real life and at almost two feet long they are GIANTS!! Beautiful finish and awesome photography.
Thank you for responding to the re-invite bud.

Joe appreciate your nice comments. I had somehow lost the information for this site when the wife got me a new phone a while back. Will be posting more builds soon.

Excellent. Got the same kit and will be pleased if it would turn out near as good as yours.

Brilliant work Ernie! I also love Robin Olds; what a brilliant commander! Your model does him great honor.

Excellent. Got the same kit and will be pleased if it would turn out near as good as yours. Thanks. The kit is nice but it throws you a couple of curb balls as you go. A couple of parts have a small fitting issue but it’s easily corrected. The biggest goof is the non truncated intakes that have a nasty ugly gap. The FOD covers hide that .

Brilliant work Ernie! I also love Robin Olds; what a brilliant commander! Your model does him great honor. Thanks Duke. He was quite a character and respected by his men. Read he enjoyed his drinking that sometimes got him in trouble with the brass.

Good to see you posting again Ernie. Your F-4 is an amazing tribute build. Very handsomely done. Excellent detailing and painting. You are an artist with your Sotar as the camo painting is remarkable. Your enhancements to the cockpit are impeccable. It is always a pleasure to see your builds.
Cheers, Joe

That's an awesome job on that big kit. I really do like the 1/32 or bigger, more detail. Great work!

Yes! Very well done, sir. Of course the F-4 was my favorite until the F-14A hit the scene. I can't imagine building a jet in 1:32...

Hey PJ, beautiful build! I have the Sotar 20/20 myself. Could i ask which needle you were using and how thin you made the paint for those demarcations? Really nice work there!

Yea the Sotar is pretty awesome. The needle is the one it brought which is .2. I thinned the paint a good 60/40 or a bit more and sprayed at 8-9 psi if I remember correctly. It’s all a game of let’s try this or that till you get what you are looking for.

Beautiful Job Ernie. Those ejection seats are great models on their own! I have 'Fighter Pilot' in my stack of books to read.

What I’m learning is my pressure is too high when i try to do it this way. i was going higher to try and get a thin pencilline. Will reverse my logic and go lower. Appreciation the advice
