Turned out great! I enjoyed watching your build come together, a nice addition to your shelf display.

Well done!!! Great save replacing the hose. Often anything is better than the kit wiring... I am huge fan of lead wirings.

What a cool kit. I don't recall ever seeing this one. With that large face I think I would chicken out and mirror the visor and cover it completely and skip the pain of trying to make it look good. This would look cool mounted to the wall with him floating out from it. Very nice.

Done! I had just finished ED and his umbilical just broke! Arrgh. Any way, other than that I'm happy with how he came out. I added a few things to the kit. A decal for the pressure gauge on the chest pack, I used some wire for the O2 hose from the chest pack to the helmet, and I replaced the thick plastic "floating" hand straps with wire. They now look better! Thanks for everyones help and ideas! For some reason, I missed this one when you posted it up Mark. This indeed turned out to be on heckuva build and not one of usual subjects which makes it even more cool. Great job on the suit and all the details involved and I'm glad you stuck it out on this. Beautiful work buddy.

You took an older kit and did wonders with it. Awesome job, here.

Thanks everyone.
Ed's suit is a little more like a moon suit than an orbital one but I like how it ended up.
This was supposed to be a quick weekend build that lasted months. This happens a lot, oh well.
