Thanks for the compliment! I don't have plans, I upscale kits and use as many reference sources as possible. I usually build artillery from scratch but the bus was a kit from my childhood and just had to be built 😁

I built the Airfix kit of this bus back in the mid '60s. Seemed a perfect choice for an all white scratch I absolutely love this! I don't really know much about working at this level with sheet styrene. How do you bend and shape the curves in the hood and fenders? It looks like it would be really hard to get them symmetrical and uniform.

Hi and thank you, glad you like the old bus. The fenders are shaped around an object of the correct diameter, a piece of water pipe did the job. the strip of styrene is over length and held in place while my wife poured boiling water over the mould and after a few seconds held under running cold water. The strip was then cut to length and the ends shaped. The hood was treated the same way, held under boiling water with a suitable former beneath, brass tube here but this time both sides were formed as one length so symmetry was correct and the cut to equal length. The radiator top was made with a front and back and wrapped around the curves.
