OK got the grey bottom and off white done but it highlighted a bad join at the nose end, I've filled it again and got to leave it to dry fully before I rub it down and respray the front end. The paint did not spray very well but seemed to dry out better I thinned it with Vallejo thinners   |

Those look like a lot of work but the results are soooooooooo worth it Ian. The way I look at the clean mat is, if it's clean that means it never gets used.  The way you're trackin', the mat should be a mess in no time. lol Looking forward to the next update on this beauty. |

I went looking for pictures of the Canadian CF-104 from the 1977 Tiger Meet as a recommendation for a project. Found one: Description English: From Canadian Forces Base Baden-Soellingen (RCAF Station Baden-Söllingen), this CF-104 in Tiger Paint Scheme was getting a quick turnaround at Lahr's South Marg. Date 1977  The picture isn't dated beyond "1977" but there is a 99% probability that I was the guy putting that fuel in! |

Squeaky bum time I put one coat on the nearest wing and it came out ok so I put a second more controlled wash on that wing, the rest has got the first coat  |
