Squeaky bum time I put one coat on the nearest wing and it came out ok so I put a second more controlled wash on that wing, the rest has got the first coat  This is coming together VERY nicely Ian. I like the effects of the wash you're doing and can't get over the decaling. Beautiful work on this aircraft man.  |

Flory model was Joe, water based so if it goes wrong you can just take it all off but you must have it on a gloss base

I got the excess cleaned of last night and it didn't take as good as I was hoping, The smaller line were not deep enough to hold the wash but thee bigger ones were I'll add a few streaks on it just to dirty it up slightly but nothing too major then it'll be time for a mat coat.  |

I've asked my neighbour to make a hardwood base, I think a hardwood will set the light colours off nice, so long as he does charge me too much

You get a definite "win" from me on this one Ian. From the basic construction in taking care of the seams all the way to the decaling, painting and weathering up of this bird it's just been a true pleasure to watch. The finishing pictures do alot of extra justice for it but I can't help but wonder what it would look like with a blue background. Your beauty of a build seems to blend in with the white background.
Looking forward to seeing it on the completed base.

Some of them was a bit big and I did make a small rip in the biggest but you can't see them.
