My new toy for the coming months After quite a few hours most of it sorted for the start. Been drilling for an hour this afternoon, some holes slightly deepened and a few drilled through so if all is well the primer can be applied. Eerste serie onderdeeltjes voor het motoblok, volgen nog meer in latere stappen van het bouwplan. Parts that need to be drilled in and on. And done. First part put together the distribution, a solid fight on the square centimeter. The photo above contains a PE shield with the name of the distributor, you can hardly see it 1/1 let alone in its place in the frame Mudguards and tank cleaned and already had some filler, parts suffer from some pitting. (holes) And made a jig so that the paint job is a bit safer. Plastic rod will be replaced with copper if I find something.

WOW!!! That’s some small stuff you’re working with in the Ignition distributor and that nameplate puts the cherry on top of it. What colors are you working with on the distributor Ron?

Is this plastic or metal, looks like metal in the pictures.
Can't wait to see what you do with this!

Such a detailed build. This is sho nuff eye candy right here Ron. Looks like you've got your hands full but also know that you'll kick out a good product in the end. Looking forward to more updates buddy.

What fantastic project! I've only seen the price tags on these kits so I'm anxiously following along to see the details and your build.

Thanks for the responses, it's still being worked on, but it's not going that fast at the moment. Soon I will post some pictures of the engine block and real artwork

Actually still nothing shocking to report but a lot of work that you don't see. What's been done a little lately, Engine block 90% ready. Rims and axles 90% ready, still spokes. Had sprayed the frame but was not satisfied with it (not sprayed tight enough) so again stripped. Mudguards and tank were given some putty and polished. Again a lot of parts ready for their final layer. It's more work than I expected on this kit, but when it's ready I'll enjoy it.

Yes, it doesn't go as fast as I would like it to. But I learn to be patient now, something I'm not used to :-)

Man I've never seen these before. It looks like your building a miniature real bike without a running engine. I'm sure that will be a thing some day. LOL No seriously, it probably will.

Man I've never seen these before. It looks like your building a miniature real bike without a running engine. I'm sure that will be a thing some day. LOL No seriously, it probably will. You never know about that engine hahaha. +/- 155 parts (almost as much as an Italeri 1/9 Harley) the engine block hangs in the frame. Was a little worried about the fit of some parts, but so far no problem with drilling a larger hole. The only downside of this and probably the other kits is that they don't give dimensions of the holes to be drilled and lengths of wiring and a few other things.

Are there little tiny brass sleeves in those compression fittings? They look like they should have little tiny brass sleeves.

The detailing on this build is just mind blowing Ron. Down to the lines and fittings and then with the future addition of the spokes. This is going to be a true head turner when it's all said and done. WOW!! Looking VERY much forward to the next update.
