KATO Maintenance Shed, N-scale

My yard maintenance shed, by KATO. A nixe Kit that went together smoothly, except for the decals (less than stellar). Clear windows were well molded and made to snap in firmly into the interior walls.







I can’t remember if I glued them in place… it was some time ago.

Cross braces were nicely molded, as well



…a little tough to get in place, but they look great!



Exhaust stacks were solid molded and snap into the roof

…looked a little too factory fresh so, I weathered it up a tad. Not much, but enough so that it looked a little under the weather!

The roof has nice interior details, with probably almost zero chance of seeing them.

This is pretty darn cool Emery! I would start on something like this but then I'd acquire a THIRD hobby in model railroading and I've already got alot going on with the smaller and 1:1 scale stuff. lol

Yeah, the interior surprise me, too… I’d considered maybe scratchbuilding more interior, but opted not. As for the viewing, remember that a lot of model railroaders attach cameras to the locomotives to see a ground eyes view of the running train
