Heller 1/48 Etendard IV M

To show that I'm not just an armor guy, here is one of my last aircraft builds. This is the Heller 1/48 kit of the Dassault Etendard IV M. I did add some detailing in the cockpit and opted for a short lived paint scheme worn in the mid '80s by this type near the end of their careers.

Man.....that is just no nicely done Carlos!! Excellent paint, decal and detail work on this. You've definitely earned your keep in the aircraft genre of modeling pal.

Reserve, the basic kit is pretty decent, but the plastic was quite brittle. It didn’t help that my lower fuselage was warped, so trying to fit things there, led to more problems to be dealt with.

I'd wondered about that, never worked with Heller. Ya beat it ya did

I’ve done a few Heller kits over the years. The look nice, but have finicky engineering and brittle plastic. Oftentimes they are the only game in town in injection plastic for a subject in a particular scale. Modeling skills required… 🤨
