Iraqi F-7B, 1/48

This kit was a modified clone of the Academy 1/48 Mig-21, just like the F-7B is a Chinese modified version of the Mig-21. I was hoping when I bought the kit that I could turn it into a Mig-21F-13, as there was no 1/48 kit of the type available at that time. But no luck on that. So it sat on the shelf of doom for many years until a while ago when I decided to finish it in Iraqi markings. Not a great kit of the subject, and Trumpeter makes a much better kit of the subject nowadays. I took a pair of Matra Magic missiles from a Mirage F1C kit in my stash that I'll need to replace when I get around to that one. Anyways....

Heck yeah it turned out quite well. There's no way I could pull that paint job off that well. Hat's off to ya Carlos!!!
