It's hard to believe that some of these exotics date back to the late 60's / early 70's as modern as they look. These were definitely ahead of their time and are BEAUTIFUL cars. I don't know what you shot these pictures with but you have a great camera and know how to take good photographs Mark.

Thanks for sharing. All the years I lived there and I never visited it. Is it in Balboa park?

Now I've been there hundreds of times. IPMS San Diego used to meet there.

I try and go to one of the museums every time I'm in San Diego.
Both the Air and Space and the Automobile museums are small but quality.
The USS Midway and the Star of India are favorites also.

That is cool! Back when the kids were little, we'd hit the free museum days on Tuesdays in Balboa Park. If I remember it was a different one every month.

Spent the night on the Star of India. I think it was when my kids were in 4th grade. They needed parents as chaperones. I had the joy of the 3:00AM watch. My group of kids messed around till 1:00AM or so then I had to wake them all up at 3:00 lol. Pretty fun experience all in all, though an air mattress would have been appreciated.

It is so sad I live so very far away (about 20-40 minutes) that I can't get to either one, hardly ever. sigh, I’mso busy with all the things I "have" to do. So, thanks for the reminder that I live near a great bunch of museums. I’m embarrassed by my lack of patronage. Need to make the trip to Balboa Park real soon and get cought up.

Prop Duster,
The Aviation and the auto museums are next to each other. No need to even move the car! Both can be done in a day.
