Adding some content here to help build our MSC group! I finished this back in February…
I'm really excited to present this one
Way more work than I thought it would be so I'm stoked I didn't goof anything up and it came together looking sweet. I built her primarily out of the box. I added some wiring in each of the gear bays, made my own FOD covers, custom printed decals, the frame to hold the nose, and ended up making some wing fold hinge covers because the kit ones were just too out of scale to be prominently displayed. I drew my own masks in Silhouette Designer based on Syhart decals and a huge walk-around that I can’t find the link to at the moment, plus one by Fotios Rousch that I found at CyberModeler online.

Michael Jordan and Larry Bird said it best…”off the road, off the billboard, through the window, nothing but…” PAINT! Ha, this is all airbrushed using masks i made on my Silhouette, about 100hrs drawing!
I made the naval emblems on the outer wings, the gray tall mast ships, the pilot lettering with decal paper and the laser printer at work. I’ve got about 5 months invested in this. Hope you all enjoy Trumpeter’s 1/32 F/A-18F brought to you by TheMongoose!
