Chaps. Apologies for the delay, family life, trying to buy another bike, other stuff, blah blah... Anyway, we're off. Cockpit first, rubbish at painting anything so opted for the Reskit 3D cockpit detail set which is very nice and all fits in as you hope it should. Bit of extra detailing on the bang seats and we're done, they won't be added until nearer the end for fear of damaging them. Although not visible, I have been adding strips of lead to the sides and underneath of the cockpit. ICM make no reference to how much weight is required to avoid tail sitting so I am adding what I can to the limited available space until it 'feels right'  Hopefully the next update should arrive a little quicker, thank you for your ongoing support... |

And there's more. Cockpit in and fuselage halves closed up. More weight added behind the cockpit and the underside added. Not a bad fit so far, however, we move on to the weapons pods which it seems no manufacturer nails getting the fit right, ICM included. That said, it's nowhere near as bad as the Kittyhawk kit! It is the only model I ever just totally gave up on and threw back in the box. Some day it may be resurrected as a wreck or something but it will never see light as it came in the box. |

Chaps. It's a wingy thing so here's the, err, wing! Flaps not glued just yet.  And then time to attach it to the fuselage, fit is as good as you could possibly hope for.  That's it for today. |

Chaps. Tail booms assembled, last chance to add weight in the engine nacelles before closing it up.  And then attach them. Fit is very good considering the fairly complex shape of the mating surfaces.  Cheers. |
