This kit was my first model way back in 1977. I picked up another to see what I could do with it. Its not a masterpiece but I'm good with it  |

That must have been fun. I like the wheels - Pacers were kinda crazy looking but that year isn't bad.

I think its still pretty sweet!, I think its cool when people are able to keep their older builds. I dont know why, but for some reason i get rid of mine that arent up to my current standards...i'm trying to keep them now. I've been building since 1977/78, but only have 17 builds that have passed for acceptable to me...it bums me out these days.

I look at old pictures from when I was young and building one to three models a week and reminisce about how it was with no care about if it was just right or not. When I originally built this kit in 1977. It was with Dads help. No paint just glued together. Later on I brushed painted it silver. It feels good now to build another just right |

The only other kit I have is a Gremlin with a V8 Coincidently the Pacer (not the wagon) and Gremlin are two of the kits I am trying to find (for a reasonable price) for my Cars I Used To Own collection. My wife's Pacer was exactly the same colour you painted this one. |
