Built in 2008, I'm pretty sure this was Eduard's first kit, issued in 1993, and I had a real struggle with it. They have since redone it entirely, although some say the wing molding better replicated the ribs on this issue. Contrail strut material replaced the interplane struts. 100% PE interior detail, thick, ill fitting fuselage parts, and decals that I finally gave up on and replaced with some I made on my ALPS printer. Yep, lozenge decals. What was I thinking?!! The engine on this airplane is what got me interested in it, the propeller goes one way and the cylinders go the other way, somewhat of cancelling out gyroscopic forces at the cost of less effective cooling airflow over the cylinders.

Interesting concept in regards to the engine and prop John. Some of the early Eduard stuff was a bit tricky alright but looks like you pulled this one off despite all the issues that you had with it. Excellent painting and decal work.

Early Eduard kits are NOT for the faint of heart or novice. Modeling skills REQUIRED! Those short run multi media kits are a serious challenge that you obviously mastered. Very nicely done John! 👍🏼👍🏼
