Anyone else watch?

After the boredom of the Monaco grand prix, I thought the 500 was going to be kind of quiet.

95 laps of gentlemanly (mostly) racing and the it got better, then interesting, then downright crazy!

   Was a crazy race, wonder if they bought a new car fir the one hit by the loose tire?
    Amazed at how " safe" those cars are, puts new meaning to skid lid.

I would have liked to see a close up of the car. Indycar wheels are not heavy, but that tire was moving!

I'm very glad no one was hurt.

As an aside, in the late '90s I was working at SEATAC airport when a cargo DC-8 lost a wheel on takeoff.
It rolled almost a mile, across runway 16L, through the commuter airline ramp and hit a F-150. It destroyed
the truck! No one was hurt there either. The DC-8 wheel is MUCH more massive though.

It was nuts! A late restart is always entertaining... two of them! The second red flag was a bit questionable but made for great racing. Glad no one got hurt - other than some pride.
Monaco got fun once it started raining but Max is just in another league.

And ya that tire... could be a whole nother story if it had been 100 yards to the right. So happy no one got hurt by that 100 mile an hour decapitator!

I tuned in with 26 laps left and so glad I did not miss the end of this race. Absolutely thrilling last few laps. Although questionable, I was glad they red flagged the race at the end and finished under green.

I wasn't able to watch but the highlights looked great.

I did watch the Coca Cola 600 yesterday. Great race except for the rain delays. And someone might get suspended for a week for a questionable retaliation.
