Looks real good Tony! Where do you do the final connection? On the bottom run somewhere, or in particular spot?

The tracks look great Tony. Thanks for the play by play. I also like the recommendation of the Tamiya dark iron. I'll be getting myself some.

I saw this yesterday and meant to comment on it, thought I did, and now in coming back to it see that I didn't. It must be the South Tx heat or something Tony. I've gotta tell you, this seems like one of the most tedious and time-consuming tasks to armor building in this scale that I've seen....but it has to be the most rewarding feeling when it's all assembled like this. These came together VERY well. Looking forward to the whole weathering process on these.

The upper track run is resting nicely on the third road wheel from the front end as it should do on a Panther. 👍

Well done sir. It's been years since I've used Tragic Tracks...probably what's keeping me away from the Dragon Panzer II in the stash

Nice job! Everything looks great. I really like how the extra track links turned out. That subtle color variation is sweet.
The MENG kit also provides for this tank, with red numbers. (They don't look too red to me in the photos.. but they are b/w of course.)

Man.....what a beauty! Your camo and weathering on that vehicle came out brilliantly IMO. I hear what you're saying about the "pea camo" on the troopers but far be it from me to say much in regard to figure painting because I'm truly NOT the expert when it comes to that area of modeling. Like you said, I too like the way they are displayed on your tank. I gotta hand it to ya Tony......you done good with this one.

Tony, brilliant choices of the figures to go with your Panther! I always believe including figures really bring life to the model kits.

Calling this one done, very happy with the result, except for the SS pea camo, just too small for me,but otherwise I do like the way the figures came out and their position on the tank. Thanks for following along, and the encouragement. Came out nicely Anthony. The scene is very dynamic. Don't worry about the camo clothes. The type of smocks the guys are wearing would have oak leaf or plane tree print to them. Pea dot did not exists on these items. I found I'm only able to paint it convincingly if I totally stick to a photograph of a real item for the process. In the past there did exist water slide decals with all kind of patterns form the brand Shinsengumi. Maybe that would be an alternative for you?
