Great finish. I noticed you had to use a stand to keep it from tipping back. On my Hasegawa I ended up filling the front of the float with weight

Thanks TJ - I totally forgot to put weight in the float... so yep, stand is glued in place for all eternity lol

Pretty cool as it looks like if it is flying thru the cloud in one of your pics. I think you did very good with this build and I approve anything weathered!

Man…..you just BLEW through this one John but it turned out GREAT. I’ve had times we’re washes didn’t “behave” but you recovered nicely…….especially for not doing anything in a year.

Looks good, John, sorry about the bottom. I'm starting to thing oils are the safer way to go, I have had issues with the Tamiya washes.

The wash residue on the bottom is just saltwater staining. In fact it could probably stand even a bit more and still look right. Maybe was not intentional but...
