I've always wanted to build this kit.. and the 39 Coupe counterpart... so with the announcement of this release, and the decals included in this issue, it was a nobrainer. Paint is Tamiya Champagne Gold and Testors Extreme Rootbeer. All then cleared with Tamiya Gloss Clear.

kwt This one turned out quite well Jeremy. Color and shine are fabulous and I love the BFG's. Are those kit tires or decals for the lettering? I don't think I've seen this release of this car yet but in looking at the fact that it's a panel wagon....the possibilities are endless as to what could be put back there in the back and pop that rear door open.

Those are the kit tires. They supply the BFG decals on the sheet with this release.
The back door comes open and you add on "hinges"... they are fiddly and annoying... I just glued this one shut. I have another of this one that I'll spend more time on, and probably leave the back open.
