Hey fellas!! Yup, another thing with wings!!! Amazing in itself but true! LOL Had some fun with the Zero, I thought I would just jump in and have at it! This is not going to be a wreck this time. I will in fact, attempt to finish this off a weathered veteran of the skies. Since the kit only comes with the markings for the Famed fatal Flight 19 Avenger Squadron, I will be heading down this path. I was going to throw this into the PTO GB but since they flew out of Florida, well, nope!! Onward! The Kit Art: Not wasting any time I dug into the office. Since I am not as adept at things with wings as others, this becomes part of the learning curve. Note to self; Office is connected to the fuselage! LOL!!! Little joke to myself since I keep thinking I can rip downstairs and paint away, but, there is "the" process. I combed around and looked threw the walk around arrays and some other builds. This helped me decide if I needed to add anything to liven up this kit. BTW, this is an extremely nice kit. Loads of detail...recessed panels and rivets, blah blah blah but there is always room for improvement. As you can see in the picture above I added just a couple pieces of copper wire. Not that these will be seen, I was just filling the voids. On to the Bombay! With the exception of the pin marks everything looked pretty good. Just needed to add a couple fly by wire pieces and some hydraulic lines. Well, they are electrical wires but will serve quite nicely as hydraulic. Next, since I had a little time after mowing the lawn, I gave everything a little prime. Oh, wouldn't you know it....I still have no primer. Well, I have some in a can, but wanted to do it NOW! LOL! I grabbed some Deck Tan off the shelf and had at it. Its beginning to clean up a little I think! After this dried, I shot some aluminum base down. As she stands! Next will be a shot of clear to protect and then onto that lovely greenish interior color. Think I may get this down tomorrow and then I can work on the instruments and such that need a little detail painting! As always, I appreciate the company!! Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks again today ER!! As for the AC, nothing as of yet. You can shoot Scott or edi a PM over there and see if they are getting close! Thanks Chris! Lucky to have you in my corner!! I noticed only the green ones so far and it mentions Flight 19 set up for the most part. I won't split hairs if I don't have to at the moment. But I will do some double checking this morning. All the walk around are Olive Green or cream colored How accurate is that.....which reminds me, the kit is Accurate Miniatures! Maybe, just may be, I will finish the FW 190 after all this.

Spud...well I thought I was going to use em....why what happened to flight 19, did the decals make em go down? Er...LOL!!! If you count the Zero, you got one more than me!! ;D Thanks Chris!! Get that Tank Killer done and we can park em on the same table and Baycon bud!!! Pete, I was thinking the deep blue there, as depicted by the obvious box art but also in a couple pics too. No grey top or bottom...but anything is on the table still I guess! As for the decs (this is for spud too, cause I never really answered it by being a wise arse )yes I will probably use the ones that came with the kit. There are 5 options to choose from. I could bastardize them and pull different numbers out, but never built one clean like this, so pre-disaster might work out OK.

Mr. T, some excellent work so far Sir, nice detailing in the office, and nice paintwork as well!
Didn't realise at first, but never knew there was a typical kit commercialised for the Bermuda Triangle Avengers....you aren't making this one dissapear are you? ;D ;D ;D
Cheers

They gave you 5 options !? I only got one with each of mine! I like the all sea blue. I still find it hard to believe that you are not going to wreck this one. I for one am excited to see this build unfold unbroken!

Hi Ya Wouts!! Thanks for for the kind words!! Didn't know either till I saw this one! (but then again, no wingy guy is I!! ) That would be the easy way out on this one though....just some water....LOL!!! Hey Pete!! Yup...five separate numbers on the sheet. Had to check again....LOL, need another number? Well, until I screw up really bad I hope she will look flyable !!! ;D Mr.S....LOL!!!!! My last name is not Spalding ya know!! Her is where I am at. Just about ready to sew this together. Couple small items and I will do just that. I managed to pretty much finish the interior except for a touch-up or two and another wash I think! Well that is that for the moment. I primed a couple more pieces earlier tonight and with any luck I might get some paint down tomorrow night. As always thanks for tuning in!!

T, looking pretty sweet there bud! All set on the numbers for the moment, but if I ever have a fatality, you may get a 911 call! ;D Now listen I know you are out of your zone on this build, no rust or holes, but you must stay focused! Keep it flyable!

LOL...It's a flying thing Boss!! ::)Is it done yet? Thanks Dicky! Was playing around with the interior, trying things out. In the dry fit, only about 40% is actually seen. All good...practicificationating! Thanks Chris! I would say..umm...used ;D I am really looking at painting this one. I will be keeping my eye open on you build as the paint will be flying soon! Thanks Pete! LOL, the numbers will be here!! Staying focused for the moment. The M7 is keeping this satisfied, but, you never know !!! Actually had some time this evening and started the engine. 4 pieces minus the prop. So Yeah there is some piping and wiring getting done. I will hope to have an update tomorrow sometime.
