It is resin from The Iron Shipwright. It is on going since 2008.Now it is not that long because I only was working on it from mid November to December 31, now it's on the bench and will be finished by 2024.. It is a memory model for my uncle who died on it at Pearl. I had to do a massive rebuild/repair on the lower stern from a skinned over air void. IF SOME COMPANY. . .(TRUMPTER) would do the Nevada it's sister ship life would get easier. Here is how it sits today. I scrapped an Arizona (which was replaced with the Eduard one) so many parts and assemblies can be worked in to the Okie particularly the secondary armament and the air defense. . Paul

Looking real good so far. Have you had a look on Shapeways for some 3-D printed items of what you’re looking for? Since the Pennsylvania Class and Oklahoma Class are similar, many of the fittings for those might work for your project.

This is definitely one build of yours that I have NOT seen before Paul. You've sure got alot of time invested in this one with the corrections and the addition of all the PE. Just beautiful work so far buddy.

I've ordered a few of the 3-D secondary armament parts for use on the Oklahoma and forgot about them until you mentioned it. One problem was most of the armament on both Oklahoma and the Nevada was specific to the two ships. The gun mounts and shields are the main difference. Still workable just time consuming and I need to work up it.

I have the old 1/350 Arizona kit in my stash to tackle one day. I was planning on converting her to USS Pennsylvania in early 1942, but now that I am living in Arizona, I am thinking of building her as US Arizona in her final fit of late 1941. One day…

One day… Is it the Eduard or the Hobby Boss kit have the Eduard enhanced kit done up to minor weathering and rigging.
The Hobby Boss and basic Eduard kit are the same molds BUT the Hobby Bsss plastic is "mushy" and seems to be recycled from a mix mostly not polystyrene.I used all the Eduard PE, resin and # D printed parts.
The H.Boss kit I stripped for the Okie and tossed the rest. 2 Pics of the Arizona

USS Texas was launched in May of 1914 and is one of the two New York Class. The Oklahoma was launched in March of 1914 and is the second of Nevada Class. The Texas is also one of the last BB's with two Stacks and the odd locations aft turrets.

All new information to me. When I was a young teenager I was interested in these old battleships as they were just the coolest. LOTS of guns on top of VERY large ships. A true force to be reckoned with at the time.

I wasn't sure if they were in same class and I have so much to learn about those ships! Thanks for taking your time to educate us. Karma 1+

Found a 3 D printer who does a ton of ship item along with Armor and Aircraft items including items to enhance the old Revell ( 520 scale? ) kits from the late 50's Over 1000 5 star revues. so I ordered stuff. Some is for the Oklahoma, Nevada Turret for a future build and a Cage Mast set to do an early 1930's Battleship. Possibly the Texas. I'll get the parts in 2 weeks and give a revue. www.model-monkey.com/

When you open the link you will see this menu at the very top of the page, click 1/350 - 1/1250. Than choose the ship type you want. Below is a copy of the "Menu" Home , 1/4 - 1/325 scales , 1/350 - 1/1250 scales , Nameplates , New Models , Ship Plans , Shipping , More
This link MAY also work I hope
