This is also a model finished some time ago, where unfortunate coincidence made the model a little different way than I was planned. At first I was just making a tank without any crew etc. But decal softener cooked up ammo varnish in turret and I had to figure out something. I was hit by the idea that crew member had stolen some champagne and having a good time. That way I could hide messed up turret decals with a table cloth. I'm not completely happy with figure, but still learning.. 

Only changed tracks to friuls and added eureka cable, as it was missing in the kit. Champagne crates and figure are from miniart. It has early war two tone camo painted, and it nicely shows that how hard those are to spot in black and white photos after tank is dusty.

It's all in the recovery. And you have done a remarkable job recovering from your mishap. Very creative indeed that worked beautifully. I am really impressed with your weathering. It is outstanding in my book.

It is always great to see those early war panzers!!! Really nice touch adding the champagne and stowage too!

Thanks! Good point with that oddball's german cousin   Was my favourite movies when I was a kid, we had it on vhs tape and watched it countless times.

Nice and I agree with Deafpanzer, I too like the early German AFV's.

Somehow, I missed this when you posted it kaktus. What a great way to recover from a potential setback and it fits in nicely with the build. I hear what you're saying about the black and white shots not capturing the worn and dusty looks that a lot of these vehicles had through the war.
