Thanks Andy. That dog was a real challenge to paint. Particularly around the eyes and snout. Trying to do fur and then the transition to exposed skin around the mouth is quite difficult. Not to mention they eyes... they are in there shiny dark brown, but quite hard to see in person...

Thanks Buddho. I've long had the idea to do a diorama based off that scene using this figure. Perhaps now that Ive completed him, I'll get the diorama rolling one day soon. Of course he's only one small part with many more figures and some AFVs, but...

Thanks Tony. Yes, the uniform shading did come out nicely with this technique. I have no idea how it would work with a multi color camouflage uniform.
The figure is based upon a character in The Longest Day played by actor Kenneth More.



There is more that occurs afterwards, but I can’t find a short clip that includes the additional footage.

Thank you Brent. I did my best. I just can see that I still have a long way to go with figures. I do enjoy building and painting them. I just can’t get them to the level of finish that I see others do, and apparently so quickly & effortlessly… 🤨
