Question:
My current build is not supposed to have a traditional glossy finish - it’s more of a semi gloss or satin. I’m wondering what will happen to the decals if I apply a semi gloss clear over them? Will they appear cloudy, dull or perhaps blurry?
Thanks!

No not at all, convention says that you apply your decals to a gloss or a satin finish, then you overcoat with clear whatever your final finish will be.

You should be just fine bud. I've done this a few times and have gotten no cloudiness or milkiness to them.

Exactly, the same thought… the topcoat should blend in the decals with the paint for the final finish.

Thanks fellas. The body has a couple coats of semi gloss clear… I’ll go ahead with the decals and seal ‘em in with a final coat. 8^)
