My club which I recently became active in had our 27th Show and Contest. Here's a link to photos posted on the club's Facebook page. The link to the main Facebook page is www.facebook.com/groups/IPMSSACRAMENTO/ I participated in judging and while it probably make me a better modeler I'm not sure it will make me a happier one!  It's so easy to get infected with the pursuit of perfection!

John, thanks for posting this link. Yes, judging can be a mixed blessing, but I know my improvements have come from judging. Many of my most recent trophies have been because of things I've seen while judging and from great advice from friends who have not been afraid to "offend" me by pointing things out on my models that need attention.
Maybe someday I might even place First in a Nationals.... if I ever get to go to one again.....
