These all look pretty good Carlos. One thing is for sure......you've definitely gotten better at figure painting. I aint pickin' and all.....if I tried painting figures right now it would look like a 3rd grader tried to do it. You were trying weathering out on your builds which is something that I didn't try until I was in my 40's. lol

Thanks Joe. Yeah, just couple of those got zero weathering. It took me awhile to hit my stride in that department. Figure painting... oh that's still a work in progress for me, with zero consistency... the DAK crew were done many years later for a different project, then added as leftovers to the F2. I wish that I had a quarter of Ski's talent in that area...

Practice may not make perfect, but it sure fine tunes the skills. I just bounce around between subjects, so concentrating strictly on figures to get them down and sticking with them would not leave time for all the other stuff I have to do...

That's kind of the same dilemma that I'm in. I get so involved in the build that I don't leave much room for learning figure painting at this point.

Exactly... my figures are an enhancement or an accessory for the subject kits, not THE subjects. I keep slowly trying new mediums and techniques, but nothing yet is grabbing me, saying "yes! this is the way!"

Looks like you're a "panzer" ace.

Looks like you're a "panzer" ace. I guess so. I have another IV D sidelined right now. Hopefully I can get it back on the bench again soon and continue working on "double ace"

Thanks Leon! What is there not to like about the look of a Panzer IV?
Robbo, yes I sure do like the look of the Panzer IV. I love how the design evolved from the snub nose support type to the long barreled, up armored and schurzen clad late war workhorse.

Very nice builds Carlos. I’ve tried my hand at painting the camouflage pattern on German tanks. Didn’t have that much luck. I was able to cover over a lot of my mistakes with snow. 😉. Nice paint jobs.

Thanks guys!
Christopher, you really can get away with most camo paint jobs on German vehicles because for most of the war, it was applied by the crews under field conditions. The "quality" of the work varies accordingly. I believe that many modelers overthink that aspect. But, yeah, snow, mud, and other weathering a great way to cover up parts you're not happy with...
Tony, I'm with you on the DAK subjects. Not to mention that the North African theater of war was probably the most honorable theater in WWII with all participants usually following the laws of war, even with special operations subterfuge. The last "gentlemanly" war theater.

Oh man, those are great stik. Nice work all around. Yup, I especially like the DAK panzer.
I'm also partial the whole MTO part of the war. Every aspect of the land, sea and air battles are really interesting. What I find immensely intriguing was the whole logistical battle involved. The efforts to supply Rommel as well as the efforts to keep Malta supplied were some amazing and fierce efforts.

Thanks Joe. The war in the Med was quite interesting in all that occurred there. From the last use of dueling biplanes in combat to the introduction of radio controlled glider bombs. The old and the new.

Nice work Carlos, I'm happy to see another Panzer IV aficionado. Road wheels, lots and lots of road wheels! Panthers and Tigers may get all the attention but the Panzer IV was the true workhorse of the Panzerwaffe.

Thanks Mike. If any tank is truly iconic of the German Army in WWII, it is the Panzer IV. And yeah... all those road wheels...

The true workhorse machines of the 3rd Reich! I really enjoyed looking at them and it is probably my second favorite tank behind the Panthers. 🤪

That Tamiya IV D was one of my first armor kits I built back in the early 80s as a kid. All I can remember was it fit great and, despite my efforts, looked great when it was finished. I remember when Academy repopped the different Tamiya mark IV models in the early 80’s, I thought that was quite scandalous at the time. The thought of manufacturers licensing their molds was quite foreign to me. 😄
