This is a really nice kit. Only not pick is the way the canopy was divided. Strange seam lines

This is another aircraft fave of mine and one that you've done a great job with Johnny. I've heard the same issue with the Italeri kit about the seam line in the canopy. I've got the MENG version in my stash complete with a metal 50mm cannon.

Righteous 210 TJ. You did a really sweet job on it. I also think the 210/410 are really sharp looking.

Nice clean build TJ. The 410 has a completely different look than the 110, and Im not sure which I really prefer...

The reason there was a 410 is the 210 wasn't so hot and needed a lot of work. Teenage girl, I guess. Unpredictable handling. The 410 was basically the same airplane but incorporated wing slots, a longer fuselage and larger engines, and all of the changes developed in two years of testing on the 210. It could have been called a 210 but nobody wanted to hear that number again. Willy Messerschmitt lost his job as a result of the 210 program.

Yet didn’t he create and refine the 262 in the same time period?

He still worked as an engineer but Erhard Milch used the opportunity to replace him as Chairman and Managing Director. Theo Chroneiss assumed those positions. Milch held a great dislike of Messerschmitt from the beginning of the company.
