Found this pic laying around and thought I'd share. My parents kitchen table circa 1984-1985. Most of these were built by me between the ages of 12 and 14. I know the MiG-29 was built by my younger brother. None of these survived the BB gun. But I do have most of them in my stash to do again.

Now that puts a smile on my face! Looks like you had quite the Air Force there!

Now that puts a smile on my face! Looks like you had quite the Air Force there! I'm pretty sure I can name off the kit on all except the P-63 in the front (maybe Aoshima) and the MiG-15. No idea on that one. I have replacements for all the others except the J-29 and the F3D in the very back

That is an outstanding share TJ. It is great that you have a photo of them. I wish I had thought to take a picture of all my airplane kits from when I was young one. All of mine hung from the ceiling. My parents disposed of them sometime after I left home for college.

Great stuff. Is that the Lindberg F-11 Tiger? I bet that it is the Hasegawa F11F. The Lindberg Tiger is the short nose version.

On the bureau and on the book shelves in my room

LOL! At the beginning I used my BB gun when I in high school but it has escalated to firecrackers with the planes hanging from trees and seeing them explode was probably the coolest thing I have done that summer. Sometimes I wish I didn't go too far and saved one or two of my favorite builds but it's done.

I have a whole stack now too but it would have been cool to think about the future back then. My oldest current build is early 90's, A Hasegawa 1/72 P-51B
