Yes,there stuff has been getting harder and harder to find for awhile now.I imagine if anyone has them they will be going for a fortune now. I've always liked the weight of them, but these guys make a nice product also. quickwheelstore.com/quicktracks/1-35quicktracks.html

Friul is not the only maker of metal link tracks, in the last few years others (mainly from China) have stepped into the market. I got already weaned a few years ago, when Friul decided to no longer distribute via others but exclusively by their own web-shop. That made them suddenly so much more expensive that I never considered ordering from them.
Too bad, they were one of my favorite product. My stash is increasing its value.

That's too bad to know. We are seeing a lot more aftermarket track sets out there especially those using new 3D printing that have pretty good results. I only wish they are not that expensive! I looked at my stash recently and I have about ten unused Friul sets right now so I should be a very rich man soon...

I dunno the exact count, but definitely more than 10 in my case. More like 10 for Panthers alone.

First off, this is a bummer. Secondly, why is it that something I neglect to acquire when I should seems to be gone when I actually get around to ordering it. The old adage, "get em while they're hot", really does have meaning.
Thanks for the heads up, Brian!

Who else makes similar metal sets? I've seen a lot of 3d printed stuff, but haven't come across any metal.

Sector 35 from Russia also makes them. I’m not sure if they are copies of Friul tracks or not, but they come 95% assembled, with some loose links for fine adjustment.
But their factory workers are sloppy with the CA glue - I tried using blackening fluid on my Sector KV-II tracks, but they came out all spotty. The copious amounts of CA smeared all over the links prevented the oxidation process. I ended up painting the tracks.
BTW has anyone emailed Friul recently to try to order tracks? I was looking to get their Objekt 279 and S-Tank sets.

It seems Friul is back in business, perhaps under new management. My favorite online shop has them back in stock and advertised them "back in program again"

Yeah, I’m good with the 3D printed resin ones, but there’s something cool about those metal tracks from Fruil. Great way to get a real sag if applicable. Glad they’re available again.
