Thanks Neal.
I have a few kits that have spent a few more years in my stash than that one. 🤨

Thanks Neal. I have a few kits that have spent a few more years in my stash than that one. 🤨 Unfortunately, me too.

Thanks Neal. I have a few kits that have spent a few more years in my stash than that one. 🤨 Unfortunately, me too. Let's just say that a few are from Ronald Reagan's first term in the White House....

Stik,
I think you have me beat - I wasn't 18 yet when Reagan took office in 1981. And I'm pretty sure none of the unbuilt kits I had at the time survive to this day! I'm not too far behind though, as I am pretty sure I have kits in the stash that date from the late 1980s.
I am glad to see you got that F-18 built and looking as good as it does. A friend of mine built the same kit when it came out in the white scheme with the gold and blue trim, and he had a devil of a time getting it to fit!

Neal, my stash started when I left for the Army in ‘83. I came home on leave for Christmas that year and my folks had bought me a bunch of kits. I couldn’t take them back with me, so my stash started there. I have built some of those kits since then, but have a few still that keep getting pushed aside as life goes on. The White & Blue Hornet kit was the Prototype/Flight test version. Some slight differences in that one. But yes, the upper to lower fuselage/wing halves fit is a bit tricky in its design.
