Nice! Man I thought it was the real one in the first pic - great pics BTW. Stik that's Kowolski's ride from Vanishing Point (in the title)

Now if that aint cool I don't know what is. Great looking car and excellent photography. I'm very sure that your dad is gonna like that one Jeremy. I remember watching that movie with my parents when I was younger and how it scared me when the Challenger plowed into the dozer. I must've been 3 or so at the time but I remember that part of the movie just like I remembered seeing Dirty Mary Crazy Larry at the drive-in theater and watching the Charger plow into the train unexpetantly. Took me totally by surprise and again, scared the crap out of me. I was around 6 at that time.

Absolutely awesome build of an iconic car. Really nicely done. This car has rather special meaning to me as this is an icon to those of us that live in Moab, Ut. You see, the final scene in the movie is shot in the now ghost town of Cisco, Ut. (not Cisco, Ca as portrayed in the movie) which is 46 miles NE of Moab. This was a huge deal for us here and the movie and car is legend. I was 9 yrs old when it was filmed but, when the movie came out we all flocked to the theatre to see it. Needless to say, this is a must add to my stash. Not mush left to the town of Cisco. Although there are a few eclectic folks that reside there with some unusual artistic skills.

Thanks for sharing that with us Joe! You're right about the eclectic artistic skills.

Kowalski is the man! I love this movie as well. Great work on this! I know this e-body Mopar inside and out as my brother owns a 1970 SE/RT Challenger (plumb crazy colored) that we did a rebuild on in the 80's

It is actually one in the same. For some reason Statutory Grape was the name dubbed by press for Plumb Crazy.

Can't say that I've heard of the movie.
But it does sound a bit like the original "Gone in 60 Seconds". Much of the final pursuit sequence was filmed in the city where I used to work, Carson CA, along with the neighboring cities of Long Beach and Torrance. It was fun to watch that sequence to see how much the city had changed in the past 30-40 years...

Thanks everybody. Much appreciated! I've been toying around with this idea for a while now. He's got a diecast version... and everytime I look at a Challenger, and the first thing he says "You should make it white" or "It should be white" lol He likes the movie so much, I bought it for him one year for christmas. He made such a big deal, every year since someone in the family wraps the movie up to give it to him again. One year we all (I mean all 9 of us) wrapped up empty cases with different covers to give him.

Excellent replica! I remember seeing this as a kid at the drive in. One of the experiences that lead me to be a big Mopar fan!

Well I've missed this up to this point. Seems to be slightly before I came over. A great movie and also used as inspiration for a great music video from Audioslave. "Show Me How to Live". Nice looking build of a cool subject
