Yup, I'm at it again, using up bits and pieces from the stash. I promise I will build something OOB this year (is it August already?) but in the meantime, and since the basic hull has been on my shelf of shame for almost a year now, here I go. First step was to move the #1 idlers and fill in the holes for the #2 shock brackets. Then I adapted the DEF turret (intended for Tamiya/Esci/Academy kits) to the AFC Club hull, easy enough. Now it's just a matter of using the bits in the DEF conversion and what's left of the AFV Club hull parts I have. The Urdan cupola came off an old Academy build. You make these kitbashing builds look easy when they are anything but.
What is that orange thing on the inside of the drive sprocket...rubber band?

Dr Frankenbash... Yeah, yeah, that's my story and I'm stickin' to it. Brain, those are final drive housings from an old Italeri kit. I used the AFV Club parts somewhere else. The sprockets are Tamiya. I can't even remember when or why I robbed the kit parts. I must have needed them for something.

Oh HELL yeah!! Another one of the wrecking yard projects from Russ!!! I just love watching all of the parts from different kits come together in build ups that make em look like the all came from the same kit. Build on bud as I'll be watching for more!!
