I like the diorama and the posing, it tells a story. The figure painting is good and the overall color palette blends well. It's better than I could do.
Those hands though... it's too bad you couldn't find suitable replacements.

Your paint and ground work, very nice! Jaguar’s sculpting and molding, not so hot… It certainly captures a quite common moment in time… “Zigaretten?”

Excellent! You've done a remarkable job. The base is a nice example of your scratch building skills. To me, you made the most with the figures despite the poor molding.

I think its pretty darn cool, despite the first base mans mitts for hands. The scratch work is awesome. Yes, Zigaretten beta!

It looks great! It's not your fault that the figures have oversized hands.

Turned out great. I've been a big fan of Jaguar 1/16 kits. Those hands do look a bit oversized. I wonder if you painted them black or a wool color it would look like they are wearing gloves and be more scale. Great job scratch building here as well.

The ground work is really great especially the dirt around the boots! Well done on the figures as well!

I had a response for this all typed out yesterday Creading and had to get off line for a bit. Poof!!! There it went. lol I've gotta say that you did about as well as one could with what you had to work with. I really enjoy a good diorama that tells a story like this and even more when the base and figures are painted up well. This one just goes to show true humanity in the midst of a "hell" surrounding these two. Great work on this one and thank you for sharing it with us.

Dang i see what you mean about the hands, a boxing match might be a good dio with those clubs 🤣 really nice layout and work on the details. The close up of the machine gun was my fave 👍

This vignette is so well done, with the base, wall, gate and figures. Its a shame that some figures have such large hands...(I carefully scrape them down with an xacto knife blade, then sand smooth with a light grit paper.)
But you created an excellent setting here...very nice job!
