Aggressor - F-5E in 1/32 by Kitty Hawk

Joe must have seen this somewhere and asked me to share   Guess I’ll get on that lol
Built for an adversary group build on another site a few years ago…

My Afghan camo adversary aircraft, affectionately known to my wife as the chocolate covered banana, is complete!




This one will be a Marine tribute in colorful aggressor camo as is my love. Just a few adds here. I’ve got a set of Phase Hangar Resin seamless intakes to fill the fuselage void. Wheels and the ACMI pod(planning to modify it as suggested from Harold at AMS resin). Plus I’m bound to add Archer Fine Transfer rivets and access panels :-)
made the retractable boarding ladder myself. Extremely hard to find pics of it as it doesn’t seem to get used much.
Vent tank i made myself also, from milliput.
Electronic guns for the adversary aircraft i scratched up from various pictures i found of this aircraft as well.

The finishing touches were the fuel drain tank, fire extinguisher, and the oxygen hose hanging outside the cockpit.

Oh HECK yeah!! That turned out to be one VERY nice build right there Chris. The camo work as well as the subtle weathering coupled with the base and figure just put this puppy over the TOP!!! WOW!!! And I DO mean me some WOW!!!

Hey! How have I missed out on seeing this? Your F-5 is absolutely incredible. I love aggressor schemes and you nailed the daylights out of this one. You did this justice with your skills Chris. Just some cool eye candy to look at. Thanks for sharing this.

Great job. Really nice camo. I'm a big fan of the aggressors and I've done a couple and have more in the stash. Figure looks really nice.

BEAUTIFUL!!!! I love the F-5 and you sure made it look as good as they can here! Too funny about the "chocolate covered banana" nickname. It does kinda have that look. But the name is nothing like the "official" names for those schemes... some staff puke whose job is to think up such things is having a fit somewhere right now...

   Dang Chris, how was the Kittyhawk kit? I have an AFV Club and a Hasagawa, can't help but to try one as the "Mig 28" from Top Gun.
      Aggressors are so cool!! Thanks for bringing this one to the show.
