Man that does look good Gil ( mrversatile )!! Your attention to detail just floors me. Judging by that left front fender to headlight bucket fit on the top of the fender.....this just HAS to be the AMT kit. That part of the build give pretty much EVERYONE fits. Still a beautiful build.

Yes, if I recall, the front end was about 1 scale foot too big for the body. Also check out the position of the leaf springs. That is how off the suspension was from the wheel wells. Oh yeah, the ride height was atrocious too. On the positive side, the detail and proportions of this kit seem to be spot on.

I built one of these kits up in Fastback GT form last year and found out the hard way about wheel/ tire position relative to the wheel openings and body issues that this kit has. For one of these to turn out this good is a true accomplishment and a testament to your building skills.

Stunning build as usual! Was the overspray at the bottom done on purpose? My guess would be yes but I don't know much how they painted those back then and it looked pretty realistic.

Thanks everyone. Andy, yes the over spray is done purposely bc the cars were painted after the mating of the chassis back then.
