Got the factory color on and started the 427 details. I tried a new method for scale spark plug boots. I used 1mm Mimica Stainless tube from Spain. I drill a 1.1 mm hole in to the heads, cut the tube to the desired length and fitted in the heads and paint the booot ( floquill weathers black) than the wires slide into the .4mm i.d. hole.

Which kit is this Paul? I like the fact that it's got separate shift linkage on the transmission as I've never cared for molded in linkage. I like that color on these cars.

Which kit is this Paul? I like the fact that it's got separate shift linkage on the transmission as I've never cared for molded in linkage. I like that color on these cars. I have a few of the PE Muncie shifter kits and a PE kit for the Hurst Comp + and the Mystery shifter for the 3 speed crowd. The Ford shifter with the rods shaved and Tichy bolts added to the arms is all it warrants when it is fastened a top the Moebius race car hauler.
I'm using Ed Terry's factory S/SB car a reference which was the prototype for Fords s/s cars. It is a modified reissue of the original AMT 3n1. The kit is very accurate down to the odd reversed Holly's. Ford engineers found that running the Holly choke tower on the rear set up enough turbulence to ram the air into the secondaries. Two 180'd Holly's a\on a square bore Factory medium rise intake. It got more torque,h.p. and a quicker revs from it with nothing illegal about it. In fact most track tech inspectors and competitors thought the set up was a mistake by the crew.

Spectacular results already. I love the exterior color and the engine wire idea with the ss tube is genius.

That was a cool up on the metal tubing for the spark plugs! The ‘wiring” for the engines always amaze me, and yours looks great. Following along!!!

These cars sure look good in that color. I like the usage of the Torque Thrust wheels and all the details under the hood. Great looking car Paul.
As a side note and pertaining to that last photo you posted of the real thing, I have always liked Draglites and those make that 1:1 car POP. Man that looks good!!!!
