Very sweet looking Eagle! And kudos to you for doing an ANG bird. Those aircraft have taken on an outsized role in operations since the downsizing of the active military after the end of the Cold War and particularly after 9/11. One weekend a month and two weeks a year my 🤬

Thanks Carlos, and to mimic your post...if you recall these were the jets deployed during 911 to possibly intercept the third hijacked plane. The flew out of Otis AFB on Cape Cod which is actually about 30 miles from where I live.
Tojo, you can't go wrong with the GWH examples, if you can find them. Decals were lousy though.

Oh yes, I have read about the attempted intercepts on 9/11. The bulk of continental United States air defense has been on the Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard since the end of the Cold War. I don’t think that there is a single active duty USAF fighter squadron that has a CONUS air defense mission as its’ only mission. Not like the old days of NORAD.

Looks great, weathering is spot on and I like the details on the feathers, they look real. We'll be in your town in two weeks at my cousins house in Fall River for his next to last Vintage Speedboat Race in Battleship Cove.

This looks fantastic. The dirtyness of the engines looks real.
I remember going to Battleship Cove quite frequently when I lived in Connecticut. Did a overnight there with my sons Cub Scout Pack

I remember when you posted this one on another forum early last year. The "Wow" factor is very high on this build with all of the detailing and paint/ weathering work. Just amazing attention to detail across the board on this one bud. Glad to see you back here. TJ: You just gave me a flashback. I did the same thing with my son's Cub Scout group on the Lexington here in Corpus several years ago. Pretty fun stuff.

Awesome work! I've considered making a Great Wall kit in the future and this one built up really nicely. The ResKit cans are really eye catching

It needs to be mentioned here that the 3d printed decals from Quinta studios is an excellent addition. They are very realistic and easy to apply. Also, the ResKit cans are also superlative and really improve the very intricate engines on the F-15C

Another great build!! How did you like the 3D printed cockpit by Quintas Studio? I really liked it a lot for my previous build Spitfire. I bet your set comes in much more pieces at a higher price because its a modern aircraft?

Andy, the decals were more extensive and more expensive but well worth it. If you look at the pictures of my cockpit the belts, parachute and seat padding are decals as well as all the switches and instruments in the front and rear sections.

PT, I know the area in Rehoboth well. I pass along that route often to go to a baseball field I play at in that town.

Wow! Gorgeous F-15 Gil. The 3-D decals and Reskit cans definitely enhance your build tremendously. Excellent paint job with the MM paints. I have the GWH 1/72 F-15 in my stash and it is a sweet looking molding.
