A 1000yrs from now your work is going to show up on an episode of Ancient Aliens, questioning " How did mere humans do that?"

I continue to be blown away. This is absolutely incredible. If I didn’t see the evidence You’d have to convince me this wasn’t a photo of real life. Great job!

You succeeded in capturing some many things I hate about winter. Perfect looking salt/grime/snow covered look!

I know you've probably been asked this a thousand times but.....how in the WORLD did you accomplish the snow and the ice trickle effects? Very impressive work btw.

Gotta be some of the best snow effects I’ve ever seen. Like Joe i’d love to see a how-to on that awesome weathering with snow and ice. Definitely looks real.

Holy cow, I thought they were real reference photos at first, then realized it was the diorama! Fantastic work with the camera to show us your fantastic and ultra realistic work. One of the best dioramas I have seen.
I would love to see your build pics on how you went about this...looks like quite some time was put into it.

I know you've probably been asked this a thousand times but.....how in the WORLD did you accomplish the snow and the ice trickle effects? Very impressive work btw. Thank you for your interest. Here we go: The snow is from Woodland Scenics. But I also prep the base work with painting white, then used cotton as the underlying ground work. This gives volume when adding the snow afterwards. It adds depth but most of all volume. It also uses less of the snow product. Another method is using baby powder. I've used it on other projects, but mostly on vehicles. It's a little better, meaning it's better to scale, especially on 1:50 scale.

On the truck grill is a combination of baking soda/baby powder mixed with Vallejo water effects, if I remember correctly. It was done awhile ago.
