hose of you who have cut , sawn , filed and choked on resin dust while trying to make sense of Aires and Eduard resin up grades can breath a sigh of relief ( and fresh air ) Gone are those huge pouring block of resin and trying to decide where the resin block ends and the part begins as Eduards newer products are now 3D print...
This a 1/48 F4F3 engine or at least parts. Surface finish looks good, detail is certainly acceptable, how it fits together we shall find out here soon. Painting might be tricky, in the days of resin this engine had to be built up as heads, barrels and cases were all separate so it was easy to have black barrels/cylinders and silver heads for example. now i am not so sure

That's great to know! I had to deal with excessive resin blocks for the upgrade set from Black Dog recently... never again!!!
