Man Paul, this is looking great. I wish I could find a kit in this scale of the XS650, it was my favorite bike that I owned. Of coarse me and my brother always drooled over the Ducati's as well so this is great. I can't get over how great that v-twin looks! You are making wonderful progress and I can't wait to see more of this ! Thank you very much guys. I got the front suspension 90% done. Then I installed the upper half. The lower half will get installed after the fairing is on 365

Very Nice. This is continuing to look great. Can’t wait to see it standing on its own.

What an impressive kit, metal and all. I like how the engine went together, just like the real thing. Great wiring, looks like you got the guts and all on a roll, excellent, Paul! Bookmarked.
What does a kit like this cost, btw?

Looks like it would fire right up with the gas tank attached.

I'm also working on an MFH kit lots of details but I doint like there instructions are not always clear Yes, that chain is always a bit of a struggle, I have already used 4 sets of it on my Italeri 1/9 Harley's. I hope to continue working on my Crocker soon now that the temperature is dropping again, making it better for spraying. The Duc is a beautiful model to look at and your model already looks good.

Thanks Steve. I paid $480 for it to my door. I didn't realize that these were that expensive. Here I was thinking that it might be in the $100-200 dollar range. I'm sure alot of us can't really say anything because I'm sure we've spent that kind of money throughout kit builds in the past........I know I have. Looking forward to seeing more Paul.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I finally got a chance to get back to this. Wiring was done. Then the gas tank and mufflers were installed. I was nervous about fitting the vac-form windscreen onto the fairing. But I think it came out OK. 528

Heck yeah it did! I would've been nervous about that vacuform windscreen as well Paul but you pulled that off nicely.

Ultra realistic. I love watching a build where someone loves doing what they do. All the extra effort put in this is truly mindboggling to watch unfold.

It turned out to be a beautiful model, even though it is not my taste, I can certainly appreciate your build.
