Tamiya 1/48 P-38G Lightning

The excellent Tamiya P-38 Lightning kit, IMO the best kit Tamiya has ever made and I want to build more of these.
Decals where AM from Eduard I also used a Eduard spACE set for the cockpit and HGW belts.

It's one thing to hear about these kits and how well they build up but it's a real treat to see the results of the great kits that they are in the hands of a skilled modeler. You really brought out the best in an already good kit. The base only adds the icing on the cake. Looks great from every angle bud.

Beautiful! I have same kit in my stash and it was a great move to replace the kit guns with the metal aftermarket set. I think I like your girlfriend too.

Man, I really need to add this kit to my stash. I love the Lightning and everytime I see this kit built up it looks great. And everyone seems to agree it builds up great. Just truly outstanding work. A truly gorgeous build.

It's really pretty amazing how well this kit goes together. The landing gear door engineering is quite mind-blowing. Beautiful finish!
