From a simple toy model engine, to an almost believable working engine. The photo in the top left corner is the original excavator which is scale 1/24 - 1/25. I received a toy excavator from a friend and decided to revamp it my modifying it a little with some minor scratch built parts, wiring and weathering. I painted the engine, green, used Tamiya black panel solution, dust, dry brushing and some decals to achieve the final look. Before:  After:  |
