Excellent looking build! The weathering and the layered paint give it a great "used' look. I believe Ukrainians are using the tubes from this system on the backs of pickup trucks

Very nice build and quite the interesting subject. Certainly wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of a salvo!

That came out great! The weathering is just right for a vehicle out in the boonies. The patchy look of the paint is a great touch.

What an amazing and realistic looking build John. You captured the used and abused look well with this vehicle. Just out of curiosity, how long did this build take you?

Many thanks Joe!
I started it, I think, in early May but there were a lot of weeks I didn't even fool with it. With work and the issues with my back just kept me from being interested in the bench. It's a nice kit with a lot of detail parts. Fit is good with no flash but there are sometimes a few ejector pin marks in bad areas. Those were easy to take care of. Really it shouldn't have taken as long as it did to do if I would have kept at it. There are a few oddities with the kit though. There is no exhaust or muffler. I started to fab something up but said the heck with it as you really can't tell unless you look underneath it. The other thing is the PE headlight guards. They need to be bent a certain way to make them fit good. Now the kit reuses parts from the Ural 375D kit. The Ural kit has bending jigs for those guards and the Grad kit does not. Luckily, I have the Ural kit used the jigs from it to bend the guards. Odd they didn't put that jig in the Grad kit as they make both kits. All in all though it's a good kit.
After finishing this I decided I hadn't punished myself with Dragon kit in a long time. I dug out a Dragon Panzer IV-J to remedy that.

That's happening to me where I'll go days and sometimes weeks with little or no bench time. I seem to be on a kick as of late though, so we'll see what happens. I may even finish the Vette up within the next month or two. lol
