Hi Everyone . so Merry Christmas and new year to us all BAR HUMBUG lol ok now to the serious stuff so the hull is nearly complete a lot of small parts fitted and carpet monster was kept at bay. what's left on hull is lights an few extra bits and any soaps I want to add or I use the ones in the kit. so I added straps to the tool rack copying a picture I found where one is strapped in this fashion but rack is mounted on the side of the hull , I decided to use same principle but on the hull top where it is on this kit. still got to fit the aerials or antenntas to some I have a lot of extras including the stick on episcope colour , but won't use all of them Ossie

Yikes! Looks like there is plenty going on the exterior to keep you busy for a while. Looks great so far, the added pe really elevates this a few notches

Hi all sorry for the delay had the holiday blues and lost my mojo . Ok the hull is now complete some parts of the instructions are bit shall we say bit xxxx but glad I had some reference. Especially regarding the headlight arrangement., my advice would be to build Institute on the model and not try and do it away from it. also be very careful of removing the brush guards as these are very delicate as you could see I managed to break one but fixed it. So hull is built except stowage and aerial bases and cam nets Hope you like it so far Ossie

Hi everyone So today i started building the turret and gun I must say care must be taken and yes the muzzle reference is at an angle both on the kit and real vehicle . It is not aligned to the barrel. Parts just fell together Try do some more over the weekend Ossie

Hi ALL So built some more to the gun . Added some etch which is in the kit. Because mine is not on active duty I will not fit the ammo cans to the side of the turret. Found one picture with stowed and that was on active duty in Iraq or Afghanistan unsure where but had bar armour. I also have the figure set from hobbyfan which I think is no longer available but it has the smoke discharges with there covers fitted just what I m looking for. Hope you like it Ossie

Hi All Ok gun it self is complete. The version I want to depict is it’s on or going to the ranges. WARNING ONLY ADD THE BRASS plates if you wish to add the sim fire equipment don’t know what is called USA . But simulator for gun fire etc. If like me your wont have it fitted holes to fill . I am quite pleased the is gun finished Now for the mount including all ten side armour to it etc. I placed the gun on base and on vehicle to give some idea where we are currently Ossie

Seems to be pretty typical AFV Club - an awful lot of required PE. Ready for paint?

Hi All So 99% built but when I get my head around how the .50 browning mount goes together I might finish the model . I have just the .50 to add and aerials My vehicle is going to be on ranges with camouflage net fitted. Conclusion Typical AFV Club, small parts, instructions which are confusing and in some places. Some of the delicate parts for the hatch’s break when trying to remove them The ladder can be built open or closed. So hope you like it sorry it’s not completed. But when completed I paint it. Need to build a model which is not so intense and frustrating Ossie
