That built up VERY nicley Bob! Love all the weathering and rust techniques here. What did you use for the rust effects on the tow cable and road wheels?

Joe - This was a combinations of AK interactive pigments, and Vallejo rust washes. AKs track rust is the go to but I find you cant go heavy and incorporate it with other mediums for the best result.

I'll be looking more into the rusting/ weathering products as time goes on. Thank you for the tidbits buddy. This one looks great man.

Bob, Very nice build! I think the tracks and the tow cables look great. How did you like the kit?

Brian - thank you. Kit was not bad, went together well with no real issues. Individual track links are solid, reminded me of Modelkasten tracks from years ago. I opted to go with Eureka XXL cables. I will be using them again. I usually make my own from copper wire but I wanted to try them out……happy I did.

I like all of it, but the effects on the tow cables in particular are spot on. Nice!

Beautiful! You truly nailed it with the realistic weathering on your KV-1! The artwork on the turret always make me smile every time I see it.
Poor those deers they are doomed with you being out in the wood so you better save me some venison. LOL

I really like the washed out/weathered paint effect you did on this! Excellent all around!

Very realistic. The weathering looks quite natural. Do you plan to place it on a base?
