Very good progress on this one Jay ( tucohoward ). I really enjoy using those Prismacolor silver pencils. Really adds a good effect to aircraft builds in regard to chipping. Dude this is turning out to be one heckuva build bud. I bought a couple prismacolor pencils because of the forum here. Really nice. Much better than any other pencils I’ve attempted yet.

They're great for bringing out smaller details as well......especially on raised detail.

Thanks, fellows! They do work really well. The key, I've found, is to keep them sharp for the small scratches. I keep a pencil sharpener on hand all the time. Jay

I especially like the patch work paint job on it on the aft end. A nicely represented K4. Making me want to start in on mine.

I actually forgot I was doing this one as a WIP. It's pretty close to finished. I just need to deal with some fiddly bits like the canopy and antenna wire and that sort of stuff. I have a bad habit of getting things close and then thinking, "I can finish that anytime I feel like", and moving on to something that grabs my interest. This Eduard E-4 is another example. Hopefully now that I've noticed this WIP I'll make the effort to finish it off. Cheers, Jay

I've always enjoyed watching you build these things. I remember when you first posted your stash of 109 kits and it was mind blowing. Let's see...... This was it wasn't it??!!

I was wondering when one of your Messerschmitt's would surface again, and JUST when I was not having urges to grab another BF109 kit..... Man it's great having here! These look wonderful!

I think we're done here. Nice kit that I had been waiting for. I knew Eduard had to do it at some point. I have a couple more of them so I will try to do better on the next one. Cheers, Jay

That looks really good, TucoHoward. Beautiful mottling. I am working on Eduard's F2 and have a number of their 109's (E throug G14) waiting for me. I'll hope I can do a fraction as well as you did.
