Skip below to get to the photos...I think I finished this one up about a year ago. It was my 4th ever airplane build. And the last one I have completed thus far. I actually have been thinking it's about time to crack into another one. I was re-arranging display cases and cleaning some stuff up and took the opportunity to take some better photos of this build. It is the 1/72 2003 Hasegawa tool of the B-25 boxed by Eduard with all the goodies included. The kit, wasn't bad. The Hasegawa plastics for the most part did what they needed to. However, the nose assembly being a separate piece was sort of a pain, and there was always a gap I couldn't quite get rid of on top of the fuselage. You'll see what I mean in the photos. Got a little frustrated at one point on this one and just decided to finish it, so there are a few spots that didn't really get the attention of being sanded and filled smooth. I just wanted it finished. The Eduard extras that I added were nice, even though you can't see a lot of them. The livery I chose as it is one of the planes that Joseph Heller was on. I though that was cool. This was the special edition Angel of Mercy boxing so if anyone needs any B-25 liveries just let me know. I have several more. These are also Eduards "new" decals, which I have just found out about so I could've made this look a little better. Having said that, the decals were one of my issues. I didn't notice at first but some of the stenciling didn't have a carrier film at all so when I dipped them they just floated away into tiny pieces of 1/72 letters/numbers. Oh well. It actually didn't turn out completely horrible but it is a reminder that sometimes the kit wins. Lol. I still enjoyed it, and it was another learning experience for my aircraft modeling. Like I said, maybe time to break into another one soon. If you read all that then thanks for your patience, here are the photos.

Now wouldja just loogathat! I didn't know you built aircraft Kyle and that's a good-looking B-25. I didn't know that Eduard had put their spin on a B-25 but it looks to be a well detailed kit for the scale.
I see what you're saying about the gap and all but even still, the build turned out well.

I dabble, sir. That’s about as much as I can say. Lol. Lots to learn on that front but I do love airplanes too, most particularly the piston engined ones, I like them loud and dirty. I do have one jet in stash, the hobby boss A-10.

Hey! Great looking B-25 Kyle! I'll have to talk you into building more things with wings in the future thank you! Every now and again I like to take flight. I’ve actually just dug out this tiny little 1/72 Arma Hobby PZL P.7 I may get into soon.

I am surprised to see the fit problem on the nose on a newer Hasegawa kit. Bummer! Still, a good effort.

I am surprised to see the fit problem on the nose on a newer Hasegawa kit. Bummer! Still, a good effort. I feel like it was molded in too many pieces. And the bit of separate extra armor there was the worst part. However I’m also aware that this could’ve been entirely a me issue and not the kit at all.

Gotta love the guy who wrote Catch-22. Excellent subject choice. Wow on the fit of the kit... just wow... Nice job of doing the best you can with what you've got.

Maybe mine was just mismolded a bit or something. I don’t know. The top around the turret just didn’t want to close up even without interior and like I said, that side nose armor piece were the worst parts. I have it on top of a cabinet so no one sees the top of the fuselage. Looks better that way. Lol. Thanks for the kind words.

What others have said. You definitely need to build more wingy things. This looks great.
I just picked up a Hasegawa gun nose J on the clearance shelf at my LHS. The box had all kinds of extra goodies inside

Because usually the airplane immediately becomes my stressful project. lol. Maybe after I finish the second half of my gift build for my Dad I'll break another one out.

Kyle, you turned out a very nice looking B-25 despite the obstacles the kit threw at you. I'm always leery of kits that have separate nose or tail sections. It's a recipe for an ill fit in my book. You have a future in aircraft modeling. Don't waste it . All kidding aside, you did a great job there.

Looks great Kyle. I’m digging the nose art.👍. Nice job.
I dabble in planes too, but I’ve never actually finished one. Maybe someday…

Still time I suppose.
